At least 70% of my clothes were in it along with other items, including the new Albion away shirt that I treated myself to.
Presumably you were wearing the home shirt?
Good luck.

Bit late now but get AirTags in your luggage (other brands available) if you travel.
Worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AJvw5_RnYQ
Really hoped this wouldn't have happened and the first time for me.
Wifey got all her stuff, but my large case with 3 weeks worth of clothes and stuff was a no show.
We checked in at Heathrow and the cases were together.
Changed at Singapore and headed back to Perth.
No case, was given a card, with a QR code thing on it to follow up.
I am 62 and am not that techie at this sort of thing.

So now the shit show starts.
It did arrive home missing a few items (washbag) - but oddly containing a few extra ones like some sandals and a shirt
Once I had to go to Malta for a meeting with the MFSA (essentially to get what passes for a regulatory kicking in Malta for something one of our particularly stupid Swiss private bankers did). It was a few days after the shoe bomber had done his thing so despite only going for one night I had to check my luggage in - it was a BH Monday flight so I travelled in shorts and a tee shirt with my best 'sorry Mr Chairman we won't do it again' suit, tie and white shirt in my checked case. On arrival my name was being called to attend the baggage desk - obviously knew immediately what that meant. Was told my case would be on the next flight - which was, of course, the same time the next day but my meeting was at 9am. Called BA and they agreed I could buy whatever I needed...........trouble is, there wasn't much open in Malta on a Bank Holiday. Managed to get some cheap chinos, a polo shirt and some shoes. Had to explain why I was dressed ready for a round of golf rather than a meeting, but all the MFSA Chairman wanted to know was that it wasn't an Air Malta issue. BA then refused my claim when I sent it in. I wrote a stroppy letter to Willie Walsh, got all my money back and a good case of wine in addition
I am going to the airport in a few mins to see how things are progressing.
They have a number to call which is supposed to keep you updated.
My option on the message is to 'hold to speak to an operator' which I do and after 1min 45 sec the call is always terminated.
I have tried calling this number on numerous occasions and got the same result, so I am going there.
Fortunately it is only 20mins away.
It is al very well to say take less bags and pack less things, It was my first visit for 13 years and I was staying for 3 weeks, I am gping to take a decent amount of my best clobber aren't I.
New Albion away shirt and gifts from people I hadn't seen for 17 years gone too.
Was thinking of returning every 2 or 3 years, but don't need this much aggro, so doubt if that will happen.
At least I got to see a game at the Amex, shame we didn't win.

I went to baggage services at Perth Airport yesterday after trying to ring a number supplied with no answer loads of times.
The woman there was very helpful and tried tracking the case via checking where scans of the bar coded label had taken place.
We used my boarding pass with luggage tags attached and compared it with the wifes.
She could clearly see that my wifes luggage had been scanned right through from Heathrow to Singapore and then on to Perth.
There was no record of the bar code on my luggage being scanned at all, anywhere.
This lead her to the conclusion that the tag had probably fallen off and that it could still be at Heathrow, or failing that, that the tags had been pulled off and it may have been stolen.
I am assuming the later and will start recovery from insurance once the 72 hour wait period is over on Friday morning.
I am 62 and well over this sort of thing happening, a lot of items in the luggage were one offs, made for me and irreplaceable.
I will now only consider travelling to destinations where connecting flights are not required.
If this rules out the UK, then so be it.
Glad I went, but this fallout is the last straw.
Will now have to go through a shit show with the insurers I expect, who pays for my time, efforts and stress for all this.
Not worth it.

Just bought 4 AirTags so we can follow our luggage around the world. I once had a bag go missing on a direct flight from Addis Adaba to London (more surprising because when you get to the plane all the bags are on the tarmac and you have to go and move your bag from one area to another). Bag did arrive 4 days later it had gone to Gothenburg - which Ethiopian Airlines didn’t fly to!
Just as well Qantas have that non-stop Perth to London flight then eh Mike?
Sorry the news from the airport wasn't what you wanted to hear, but l've a feeling in my morning orange juice that that bag of yours will still turn up.
As for your missing Albion replica shirt . . . mail order?
Just as well Qantas have that non-stop Perth to London flight then eh Mike?
Yes they do , but the cost is very high.
It might come down in a couple if years though, when demand levels out.
