Replacing from within the squad I would say that lamptey would be the easiest to swallow for me. Bissouma is irreplaceable and will be a devastating loss atm. As you say I don’t think we will be selling any in a depreciating market

Bloody hell, I’ve only had 1 drink and totally read this thread wrong! Bissouma is the one I would be MOST upset about losing! White the least.

I'd feel least bad about losing White but Bissouma is by far the most likely to go in the summer. BW replacing him on midfield, Caicedo backup, Veltman starting in defense.

Mr Dunk is a lifer now I think so no more worries about him leaving. We are very lucky.

Mr Lamptey has just not played enough to show the sort of consistency that would make him worth the top dollar, his injury will have put suitors off for now.

Mr White is having a good season but not a brilliant one, he needs to develop more and can get better (and worth more).

Mr Webster is a concern, he has been our best defender this season and plenty will have noticed; I be absolutely gutted if he left.

And lastly, Mr Bissouma. I’ve made my peace with him going in the summer. He’d be able to play for any of the World’s top clubs and all the scouts have probably found out. He owns the midfield in every game he plays for us. The best Brighton midfielder ever, maybe the best player. Mr Bloom seems to whack in another £60m or £70m each season. He deserves a bit of payback this summer with £60m or £70m coming back in the opposite direction.

White on the basis that Veltman could move straight in to his postion and we have the likes of Ostigard, Clarke and Roberts out on loan.

It’d be Webster who’d re-take the RCB role I believe. He attacks better from that position.

Potter would then have three left footers in Burn, Clarke & Roberts to consider for LCB on the other side of Dunk.

I think Östigard will be sold in the summer, I just have a feeling.

If forced, White out of those 4 names, only because:

Lamptey and his pace is something special.
Mac Allister has given us priceless creativity.
Bissouma is the midfield general.

The other could be anyone eg Ryan, Propper. Players will be moved on anyway.

I agree with this. Huge potential (as have the others mentioned of course) but we haven't had a truly exceptional 'keeper for a while. Good 'uns yes, bit I think Sanchez could be the real deal. In such a specialised position he could be worth his weight in gold to us for many years. The impact he has made among fans since the Tottenham away game has been astonishing

You could never replace Lamptey surprised at the poll tbh, he’s a unique talent explosive pace and skill.

I misread the question and voted Lamptey thought it said who would you NOT want to lose.

Lampteys injury may have done us a favour for now. White, very well covered. Bissouma would be a huge miss but I think we have replacements lined up when it does happen. MacAllister would be the worst to lose right now as he seems to be the missing piece of what we have been building

Right now, of those four I’d be least worried about losing Lamptey. Several reasons:

1) He’s been out for ages, and we’ve done just fine.
2) Veltman, while offering different attributes, has been a revelation - he’s been excellent
3) There’s no guarantee that Lamptey will have kept all of his pace when he comes back (Buckley, anyone?)
4) There were signs in Lamptey’s last three or four games that he was being worked out by opposing managers. Double team him.
5) The other three are currently playing in the first 11, have been integral, and, to repeat myself, we’ve recently been doing just fine.

Don’t get me wrong - I don’t want to lose any of them. But I was offered the choice of which I’d be least concerned about losing - and that’s Tariq. Right now. Ask again in 3 months and you might get a different answer.

proven replacements exist in the squad.
Although we have Biss's replacements lined up, they won't be ready to take over from him , for at least a year.

Likely to get as much for White as we will for Biss, due to HGP status and the Media have been bigging him up for longer.

The mainstream haven’t caught on yet.

I'm not sure, I've seen reports suggesting Barcelona might be sniffing around. They're losing their back up in the summer, and its been suggested they're keeping tabs. I could see some legs to that rumour, he's Spanish, just started to cement his place in a team in the best league in the world, they've reportedly watched one of our other young keepers Rushworth so it's not a stretch to imagine they've checked out our younger players. Whether they would meet our asking price is another matter, as I'm sure we'd want a hefty fee now. But like I say I think clubs will be aware of him.

I'd hate to lose Mac. Only 2.5 seasons left on his deal. I hope we have a secret extra year option and would love us to extend his contract if at all possible.

I'm resigned to losing Bissouma soon, and White perhaps.

As long as we don't lose more than 2 gems in the summer it should be OK.
