Highly unlikely but if it is him should they bring him back to face sentencing? (he's already been found guilty in absentia)

I say yes, murder is murder however long, and Sandra Rivett's family deserve closure even 48 years on.

There was a bonkers Lord Lucan story appeared in all the papers only a couple of days ago

'Three [Cluedo] cards representing Colonel Mustard, lead piping and the hall all came from his set of the board game and were reportedly discovered by detectives in his Ford Corsair at the time.'

Compulsory that at least once a year we have a story about:
– Long lost Nazi gold about to be found. Typically involving a tunnel/shaft/well in a remote part of Poland/Lithuania etc, and based on the war diary of some mid-ranking SS official. Inclusion of Amber Room optional.
– A secret hidden space inside a pyramid that could hold an incredible Egyptian pharaohs tomb (usually Nefertiti as that's pretty much the only other name people recognise). Lots of sonar technology scientific waffle necessary, simultaneously showing it's definitely there but also we can't be sure.
– Lord Lucan living on a beach in Goa, mountain in Nepal, sheep farm in Wollongologlooommmooolgong NT etc, despite the fact he must actually be around 120 by now.

I remember when it happened horrific murder and attempted murder and the world wide search I believe John Aspinall may have known what happened to Lucan sadly he’s dead now but his secretary said she was asked to arrange flights for Lucans children to fly to some destinations for a mystery person to have sight of them.

if Lucan is alive then he needs to be extradited and face the consequence, time provides no redemption for such sins

So they blur the face of the man they accuse of being Lord Lucan so nobody can actually see whether there is a genuine likeness? Hmm. Clickbait.

Blimey if they prove it's him you'll have another email account to pay for.

I thought him and Leo Sayer made a brilliant pop duo in 1974
