Hopefully City stay up and Rovers get up and I'll have two "home" games next season...

You're brave. Been to many Palace derbies but I hear the Bristol’s are second to none, I know a few Bristol fans from either side and find them highly amusing but no doubt on the day then it's a hostile grudge match, Our game against palace is nothing to their Bristol derby, hope you're wearing your tin hat Bozza, you'll need it :D

I'm personally looking forward to next season.

You know, maybe win a few games. Look competitive again. Excitement of a promotion push or play-off battle.

It's not all bad.

and hopefully some of the moaning pricks on this board will cheer up a bit.

We are not good enough for the championship at present. accept it.

*awaits torrent of abuse.

Same here, if we do get relegated it's not all doom and gloom. Many of the aspects that drive me to despair about the Premiership have started to flow down into this division.

The Championship hasn't been all it's cracked up to be in my opinion, and we clearly cannot afford the players we need at this level. I want competitive football, and most of the time we are simply not competitive at this level. Survival will only bring more of the same next season.

Missed my point a little there fella. What I meant is when if City manage to stay up and Rovers manager to get up, I will have 2 home games next season, being:

Bristol City v Brighton & Hove Albion
Bristol Rovers v Brighton & Hove Albion

but you're right. The Bristol derby is mental. Some bright spark decided that it was a good fixture for a pre-season friendly before this season. Good fun was had by all...

And there's me thinking of relegation and didn't even consider the thought of playing such inferior teams, Got to face up to reality and face facts. Anyway, us in division one against the two Bristol sides, surely you’d go along to the Bristol Derby, I would if I was located in in the area for work, etc. I’d like to go and see in person what their derby is about, there're derbies and there’s derbies. When I visit my mates then I’ll attend one. As a neutral point of view of cause.

Been to many high profile games over the years, believe it or not but following the mighty Albion in the late 70's 80's made my hair stand on end, it's been very hairy at times but wouldn't change it for the world. I've had my best away days ever following the Albion, it beats any derby but would like to see a few derbies to see what a local city derbies like. :)
