Feller I sit next to in WSU saw his first game in 1958, I'll ask him tomorrow when he got his first season ticket. If it was '58 it's coming up 56 years.....Wow!

Ditto. Been going since '74 but the first time I ever had a season ticket was when we moved back to Withdean, purely out of necessity of needing to have one to get to games.

Yes me exactly same. I started in 1975' so that will be 39 next year.

my mum who is 86yr old and still a season ticket holder, was going to the Goldstone regularly at the age of 7 yrs in 1934.

So she has 79 years of watching of the Albion through all 4 divs.
That is a very decent effort from Mother Rocks... 79 years and counting puts her into a clear lead.

My guess would be, howevere, that there are at least one or two Amex STHs in the "80+ Years Support Club" - but does anyone on here know one?

Otherwise Goldstone's old dear is the winner.

Used to sit next to Merry Emery in the west Stand at the Goldstone.Still a season ticket holder and well in to her 80's. I believe she started going with her dad when she was 6-7. Even managed to convert her late husband to an Albion follower.

Some of these posts about longevity are impressive but how long have they actually had a season ticket. Bearing in mind that up until the 80s, the only season tickets were in the West Stand (and back of south stand!).

I had a season ticket in the South Stand from about 1977.

Only rich people had season tickets, the rest of us paid on the gate. My first season ticket was at Withdean, although I've been going since 61.

I think the whole of the South Stand became all seated in 1979/80 season, the first season we played in the old top Division 1. This was the year I had my first season ticket and sat in the back row of these new seats in the lower section in the South Stand. I had been going to the Goldstone since the 1956/57 season and up until we got promoted to Division 1 I had not been able to afford season tickets and in fact in the main they were not needed, as the Goldstone was rarely at full capacity . So I had season tickets at all four grounds including Gillingham.
I don't know how many managers Goldstone Rocks Mum has seen off as he puts it, but I would think probably only a couple more than myself (maybe Tommy Cook & Don Welsh), as the manager at the time I started going was the long term manager Billy Lane. Edit: I have just looked at the records and she may have started going when Charlie Webb was manager. He managed the club from 1919/1947, impressive length of time.
