Pretty sure it's just away games - that's the normal assumption no?

Let's not find negatives in something which is a nice touch people ...! (Even though I'm sure many are wrong although obviously won't include any POTG games)

I think it is just away games.

I haven't been to any away games this season. I still got a (wrong) email.

4,381 for me. Although I travelled double that despite having quite a poor attendance record this season.

At least my 1 home game returns to the Championship next season.

I'm surprised no one has twigged why there is such a difference when it's pretty obvious, they are using the same system that is used to calculated home attendances.

Youngest Potting has been personally thanked for travelling 50 miles to support th Albion this season - ok so we only managed four games (bad fans) but I still make it more than that. I didn't get a thank you email either - BARBER OUT!

521 miles, which is one home return journey. After the dross on view last season I wish it had only been one match.

I got thanked for 408 miles. Less than I did just for last weekend's game. Even if it's a one way distance, it's hopelessly incorrect.

It's pointless sending out this dross when it just makes you wonder if anyone at the club has any ability to use a computer or do simple maths.

The club really are experts at foot shooting.

438 miles. I like it, for all the whinging about the increased commercialisation of the club this is a nice touch many teams wouldn't have bothered with.

Goes to show the wide range of views ... I think it's utter crap

Some marketing fella comes up with a daft idea, likely spends days and days figuring it all out and then gets it all wrong

They do this in the name of 'personalisation' and think that we will regard this as the club talking to me as an individual

If the club are going to write to me at this time I'd much rather it would have been from TB or PB and saying something along the lines of 'thanks for sticking with us, we didn't do as well as we should have but we're working flat out to put it right, we really want you to get behind us next season etc etc.

Something from the heart, that felt genuine. I wouldnt give a monkeys if everyone else got the same thing

693. No idea how it's calculated but imagine it must be away games for tickets bought through the club, distance from Falmer ?
Anyway, as usual too much vitriol on here for a simple email communication IMHO. Not exactly a big deal is it, far more important things to get angry about.

As mentioned earlier in this thread. No. I haven't been to any away games this season, and still got an email.

This link gives distances from Amex to all other Championship Grounds. Email said I have trekked 912 miles this season. According to the figures on the website below I have travelled 915 (One way). This does not included Swindon in the League Cup.

I think its a great email from the club, something new, I just wish they had added a few more lines to inform all how the figures are calculated.

Barber would get absolutely ruined on here if he wrote that in an email. Can you imagine all the moaning about spin, marketing, PR, and empty words.

They've kept it simple, nice touch really.
