Popping down to the grey hounds tonight, has anyone got any insider information they can let on? Which dog is in form? Etc etc

Cheers!

Goldstone
I saw Albion Calde on Wednesday. He was wearing the Newcastle colours! Not a good sign.

Here
Bet at the very last minute and always put your money on the dog whose odds have shortened the most in the previous five minutes.

This, but go for the two dogs whose odds have shortened the most, bet on the tote and do a reverse forecast

This is probably well almost certainly bollox but my old man used to swear by it , always back the doggy that has a dump pre trap entry , if more than one does it don't have a bet , if its raining at hove never back 4,5,6 . If the goings fast Forecast 1,2,3 , there you go , you should be minted by 10.30 tonight .

There is no exact science to GREYhound racing.
The dog that gets around the first bend in front invariably wins.
Unless it's is in a very high graded or open race.
There is no point in tipping greyhound winners.
It's like roulette

If you've not been to the dogs before, look through the racecard, right down at the bottom of the page for each race. They normally have three tipsters giving their NAP (best bet of the meeting) and NB (next best bet of the meeting). If you see one of those against a dog for a race, in the absence of any other kind of clues, then bet on that one. It'll be a short price, but it will usually help you haemorrhage money more slowly. Good luck!

Go on Racing Post greyhound cards then study the form for each race. You can see where the early pace is coming from. Don't believe the post which says the dog leading at the first bend will win the race. Hove has the longest standard trip in the country, it is longer than the old Wembley stadium track was. If it looks like trap 5 or 6 are stayers see if the trap 4 is likely to lead. This will crowd up the inside dogs and give the two stayers a clear on the outside to pick the leader up.If trap 3 is likely to lead and the outside traps are non stayers then this would help a stayer in the inside traps. Some dogs do win from the front but this is more likely at the shorter tracks such as Crayford , Romford etc.

For anyone brave enough to put a monkey on a dog this is a must see , if you watch before the race the clue is there to the eventual winner :)
