why do those trains stink of piss?

That's an interesting point: I've never really been sure if trains stink of piss, or if pub toilets smell of trains...

I don't know, it wasn't me, nor was it the hearing dog. In fact, it's more likely to have been me than him.

Why do those trains make those odd, dull, ghostly, echoing, groaning sounds while standing still at stations? And why, when my train has been 10-15 late all week, am I having my ticket checked TWICE on each journey? Why is that a priority and not the lateness?

Back to the thread - in my beginner days of London - I thought it was St Pancreas station, being it was near all the doctors and hopsitals...

Am i right in thinking the quickest way of getting there from Brighton is to get to Kings Cross Thameslink and walk?

Technically it is quicker to get a Southern fast train to Victoria then the Underground but let's not split hairs
