Right i would like some serious suggestions for a nice place to eat in central london, not too expensive but good food and nice atmosphere, Im taking out my ex girlfriends parents who are over from mexico, my ex passed away a couple of months ago so this is them trying to get through the grief process, therefore i want to treat them to something classy but f*** spending a small fortune on it.

thanks in advance.

Those three going together are about as likely as Swindon being champions of the division this season.

Expensive is all relevant to your means to some people a steak at £15 is expensive to others it is cheap and expected. I would suggest that you ask the same question with the added words at about or no more than £x per head

Take them to Gerrard st for a chinese, most are a reasonable price and the quality is high.

you could all stuff your faces for well less than £40 total not including drinks, or even including drinks if they are not dipsomaniacs.

Central London and value for money don't usually go hand in hand, but then again I'm not a huge fan of central London at all.

Avoid the West End.

If you are going that far west f*** the Wosely, go to Laghams right outside Green Park tube. Might be a little over your £40 a head vibe but bloody good!

Brighton factually.....
Not far from me is the The Albion in Islington which has won several food awards that comes in about £40 a head and nice food

Took my wife there for our anniversay a couple of years back and wasnt impressed. But it was about 2 or 3 years ago so may have changed.
