1st time i've got in by the ballots. I'm actually going to defer my place as I've been struggling with a leg injury for quite a few months back.
I'm going to do 10k races in the new year, then in Nov/Dec next year start training.

I wish I could do it next year but it's just too long at the moment. I'm moving on to half marathons so hopefully in a few years I will do it...

Me and the Mrs both got the 'you're a loser' rejection letters over the weekend.
Could go down the Charity route but most of them want about £1800 minimumm per person, so for the 2 of us it's quite a commitment.
£3,600 in fact

I had a golden bond place last year, which i didn't need and the charity...Phabkids only asked for 900, still alot for two people but worth looking in to
