London Irish is a complete f***ing idiot.

Anyone who dares to contradict anything he says will suffer the brightonfans backlash and be eternally damned.

He slunk away from here because he couldn't bear to have his views challenged. He's happy on brightonfans because, in the main, they are a bunch of sychophantic arselickers who think the sun shines out of his arse.

TWAT.

Of the highest order

To be honest, that is a bit of an insult to twats...

Going against the grain here but i do enjoy poping over to Brighton fans to read his posts.Apart from his recent outburst which is a load of tosh,i find his posts an excellent read.I have no beef with him and he was one of the best characters to leave this board.

LI was ok. I liked him and he also rated the Pet Shop Boys so he can't be all bad.

I finf it quite amusing how at the time of McGhee's sacking he referred to Bloom as standing up for something 'in his old age'. He's only 39 now!

His views were stoic and myopic. He showed a disregard to learning from other people's opinions, thus undermining any inkling that he might be in any way or form 'wise'.
You simply cannot go through life having formed only un-waiver-able opinions, and have people accept or like that - in fact doing that will completely alienate others from wanting to interact with you, which is exactly what happened with London Irish.

A proper stick in the mud, but we could learn from him; he was an example of all of the above, and the need to remain open-minded or you may as well go alone and preach to a wall (or stay silent).

Hilarious that two years after he stomped off after a spat with Bozza, there is still such vitriol, he certainly rattled a few cages and damaged a few egos on here didn't he? I'd love it if he was tempted back by this thread, even if just for a day. The binfests that surrounded him have never been so eloquent or run to so many pages since he left.

Say what you like he could argue most of us into a cocked hat.

Worthing
Just read the latest stuff and he seems to be accepting the situation and wanting to get on with it. Hopefully we'll do the same here - at least until there is something to shout about.

I like this bit. If Tony Bloom used to work for a bookies doing football spread betting he'd need to have pretty bloody good judgement on football, otherwise he wouldn't have made money on it :shootself

Although I'm not a fan of gambling (though I did bet against Leeds going up... looking forward to spending that £10 :clap2: ), I'd suggest he must know about odds of losing and not placing every egg in one basket. They say "never bet what you can't afford to lose", which is a pretty good wisdom imho.

There are times in life where money isn't worth anything. One of those times, is when keeping the money presides over using it to enhance your life (or others') and thereby preventing yourself from even enjoying what it can do for your time on Earth.
No point in losing it all, but - no point in keeping it all, either.

I'm for sharing in the joy of Tony Bloom's wealth and subsequent expenditure

I think the board's a better place without all that. The only reason his binfests ran into so many pages was because of his stubborn refusal to ever accept being even the slightest bit wrong. The fact that he's got a grasp of the english language (which is his job btw) is neither here nor there. You can say that 2+2=5 in the most eloquent terms possible, but it still doesn't make you right.

Stopping this now as London Irish is still an NSC user, free to post here any time he wishes. Don't hold your breath on that one though...
