Just got home and now going out for dinner with Missus to tell her all about my adventure! I’m determined to eek another night out of this!

Finally went to La Passarelle last night. It was like places in Brighton used to be before (I think) the plague of online reviews. Lots of piss-taking. Could have stayed for about three weeks. Rum cocktail, white fish with black rice and sauce, choc brownie, panna cotta with fig. Bosh

Yum!

Any tips for Amsterdam HT? My memories of my Dam trips are extremely sketchy

I know there must be some places that do steak tartare because, years ago, an infamous Brighton fan asked for a 'steak tartar well done' in a restaurant before a Holland v England game.

Some excellent Surinamese restaurants in Amsterdam as well as Indonesian ones too.
