Local Elections Voting Dilema or not

I have received my card for voting in local election, have upto 3 Xs to put against 6 candidates, 3 Lib Dems and 3 Conservatives or don't vote?

Recommendations? :)

Where do you live?

Who controls the Council at the moment?

Do you want a change?

How could you even consider voting for that shower?

Have you considered going to the polling station and writing "No thank you" on the ballot paper?

Ideally, don't vote.

If you have to vote, or just want to, then it's got to be 3 to the Tories. If you're an Albion fan that is.

Don't give the Lib Dems one damn vote. And tell them why.

1. Live in Ickenham, Uxbridge

2. Conservatives

3. Would like change but no others to vote for except Cons and Lib Dems

4. I would not vote Lib Dems, but looks like I wont vote Cons as I wrote to local Cons Leader here to support EDM he refused.

5. Will do your last point "no thank you" and have a go at them at the station but politely.

And been Albion supporter since 1968

Why's that then? The tories have screwed the Albion over for years-including trying to block our return to Brighton.

Not much choice at all....

That was then, this is now.

Lib Dems want the Albion DEAD, as per the poster.

Ridiculous that any Albion fan should even contemplate voting for them.

But the Lib Dems are in the driving seat for now in wanting the Albion dead. LDC need to be shown that maliciousness and vindictiveness can be a two-way process.

I might be wrong on this but I thought a majority of the Conservatives on B&H City Council were in favour of Falmer.

The tories on B&H council were campaigning against us using Withdean and the ones on LDC aren't exactly on our side either.

I'll never forget what they did to us anymore than I'll forgive the scumbag LibDumbs for the way they've conducted themselves. Neither party will get a vote from me. Ever.

Absolutely no point in spoiling a voting slip. All that happens is that some council bod on extra pay looks at it, thinks "cock", and doesn't count it. Real blow for democracy that one. Local government is, for some people, hard to distinguish from the larger issues. You should use the vote to protest or support issues that are relevant at a local level. If you have issues, then you should make them known at public meetings (as some on here have done), in the media, and at local MP surgeries. Whilst Princess Tony needs a good solid kick in the bollocks as a reminder to take charge of this current shower of shit, the local elections will do little more than reshuffle the power balance of who dishes out pensioner travel tokens.

If you don't wish to vote for one of the larger parties. then either vote for one of the smaller parties (every vote counts!!) or turn up and indicate your protest at lack of decent choice by registering a BLANK voting paper.

It is important you do attend as no vote is a wasted vote!! Please don't be apathetic. This is your chance to have your say at the ballot box.

You know it makes sense.

In London village.
For the record the anti-Falmer stance of LDC is shared by both the Lib Dems AND the Tories. Logically if we can not vote Lib Dem then we can not vote Tory either.
