4,371 seats across 150 councils in England are up for election tomorrow, along with six mayoral elections.

At a national level, Labour's support has slightly dipped over the last few weeks according to the polls, and the smaller parties have received a slight boost. This is likely to have an impact tomorrow, irrespective of the relevance at a local level.

The Conservatives have, however, displayed some questionable campaigning tactics.

We've had the case of a Tory candidate claiming Labour brought hepatitis to the area:

We've had the case of the Tories photoshopping a former MP and a lovable dog into a photo:

And of course, in the very local issue in Hastings, the Tory candidate Matt Lynch has been suspended after claiming to be a war veteran, but this apparently not being the case. He's still on the ballot papers tomorrow as the date for withdrawal had passed:

Yes we get it, you don’t like the Tories. Blah blah blah.

UKIP support decimated as their voters return to Labour and Tories, knowing these parties will follow through on leaving The EU.

Looks like the UKIP racist vote has all gone to the Tories, Labour haven't gained much and LD's slow recovery continues. Pretty uneventful

You are probably one of these people that didnt realise the majority of BNP were disillusioned Labour supporters.

It's comments like yours that will ensure the tories stay in power.

I think UKIP have lost considerably more than one in ten of their supporters .

Your right, a lot of the electorate can read right straight through it. All in all its been a bad night for Labour.
