Locadia is like one of those one off pop music releases that get to No#2 in the hit parade, never to be heard again.
Until a novice DJ (BHAFC), play that tune again, but its too late
LOL LOL
One of those phrases where people give their age away

But possibly still better than any of the other options currently up front?
Initial loan was from January to June (or July) and he started well in the few games before Covid, so Cincinnati decided to extend the loan with a full year (until summer 2021). They are likely paying his full wage so Bloom was probably delighted that they wanted to take him on for another year.
Cant see them using that option, think he will return in the summer unless he is completely brilliant for the first half of 2021. While not official, rumour is that the buy option means they would have to pay $10m and that is a lot of money for a small MLS club to pay for a goalless striker who at his best is considered a decent target man.
Good grief. No, no he isn’t better than ANY of the other options up front.
And when I say ANY I’m including Zeqiri, Reda Kahdra, Danny Cashman, and Big Dan Burn stuck up top.
He’s lazy, disinterested, and shit.
We spent £14m on a DJ from Holland

I agree with whoever was saying he did show some early career promise and we took a punt on that basis.
But players don't develop at a linear rate.
All the while our recruitment strategy is to go for untested players who've not played or excelled in a top league we can expect a significant failure rate.

Kazenga said:Locadia today. Really seized his big opportunity. Absolutely ran himself into the ground and looked worth every penny of the £14 million we spent on him. Think he is really going to kick on from here.
Yeh, but not £14 million worth of failure, that's a hell of loss for our clubs coffers.
I'm really excited to see Zeqiri if he ever plays. Judging by YT alone, he looks like a natural finisher that mixes power and placement. Largely LF yes, and not many headers, granted.
But looking at the smaller details....the goals with one touch directed in to the net. Combine that with the movement he shows in these clips and he'll certainly have 2 good chances a game which NM would take 6 touches for. He looks hungry and instinctive. Notice the number of goals that clip the woodwork. Goals never change size regardless of the league. It's a gamble, and an untapped talent...but glimpses of a gem. I have more confidence in the AZ gamble than I did with NM, Hemed (who stats were largely massaged by penalties) and JLoc, who even on his video looked painfully slow and scared of heading.
I'm not knocking Tomer too much. He was a good player for us for a time, but I have too many memories of seeing him miss from 3 yards out.
I'm happy to eat humble pie on AZ, too...but with a fraction of the right gym work he's PL ready IMO - certainly against the teams around us.
£14m for a premier league striker is f all
I agree. My criticism is aimed more squarely at Mr Locadia himself, than the recruitment team.
There are some tools there. With sufficient effort and application he might have come to ‘something’.
