My guess is that Hofffenheim didnt pay his full salary but when Cincinnati were willing to do that, Brighton used the recall option.

He scored four times in 12 appearances for Hoffenheim. 'very good indeed' is rather overselling it.

Good luck Locadia, thanks for the goal against Millwall and a day out at Wembley, and a few vital goals, keeping us in the EPL.
Some may say a waste of 15 million pounds, but keeping us in the EPL, most would happily pay 15 million alone just for that.

It never worked out, for various reasons, lessons learnt and all that, life is too short to be bitter.

Good luck fella, and now we have freed up some wages, I sense an incoming possible loan in the shape of Edward Keddar Nketiah !!

This. Probably just me but I find the hindsight, gloating and insults towards him and the recruitment team pretty distasteful. Anyone involved in hiring multiple people knows they don’t all work out, for a multitude of reasons.

I really wanted him to come good and every time he pulled on the stripes I fully supported him and told those around me that this was the time that the real Jurgen Locadia would stand up. Sadly against Leeds it sunk in for me that the real Jurgen Locadia was what we had been seeing all this time, and he was absolutely appalling and disinterested. That was the final straw for me. Good riddance!

I don't recall him ever behaving like a complete knob, he just wasn't able to get into our team on a regular basis, so I will never agree with the snide haters. It seems his main fault (apart from not being as good as we all hoped our transfer window panic buy would be) was to have an interest outside of football that wasn't golf.
