No, but Aspinall was saying that he would only be missing out on pre-season if he stayed here for a week or so, and that staying here is just as good as pre-season for him.

Even better than pre-season I would have thought, as he would be playing competitive games, not meaningless friendlies.

There are also many who would say that even competitive soccer in the MLS isn't particularly competitive anyway.

Always worth a look at who was left out of the various PL teams 25 man squads before deciding on who might come in? For instance, Glenn Murray is in Bournemouth's squad which I think ensures that he won't be coming back here before the end of this season...

Really?

The club would 1) let him go to London and 2) if they did, let him go by train...?

Really really, in 1st class with a young gentleman I assume was his agent. All speculation on my part and I've probably put 2 + 2 together and come up with 9.5. But definitely on a train from Lancing to London this afternoon.

Just seen Sam Baldock heading up to London on a train, so I expect him to be gone for the next 3 months.

Richie Towell posted an instagram picture in front of Buckingham Palace yesterday, so that's him gone too, then.

And Hemed and Kayal had a day out in London last week.

We're DOOMED

I saw Kaz come out of training, go to the Lancing roundabout and turn LEFT

It's obvious he's on his way to Southampton :tantrum::cry::tantrum::cry:

As I said, pure speculation on my part, which is exactly what this thread is full of.

However, the loan window opened today, it was my understanding that he has recovered from injury yet isn't making it into the match day squad and from what I saw it didn't seem like a jolly day out to London with friends and family. Seen a fair few players out and about on my travels but they're usually in groups together or with family so wouldn't exactly go and post about it. Could just be a case of going to see a specialist because of the ongoing injury that we're not aware of.

you mean the thigh injury he had which kept him out until late last month (sub against Rotherham). and then the calf injury he's had since then.
Hughton said this at his press conference last Thursday.
"He trained today. He hasn't done much training with the team this week but he is injury-free. The question really is how quickly that we involve him."

obviously he forgot to leave off the bit where he's due to go to London next week (on the train with some bloke who might look like his agent) for an operation.

Except for most of the games since he came back from the long injury hes been out with a different injury. Minor details im sure.

Lua Lua was getting his car washed in Burgess Hill on Sunday. Probably drove NORTH as he left the garage towards Croydon.

We pretty much knew that as the albion didn't announce any extension to the loan in the transfer window.

Calde to play left back vs Hull, leaving no cover for left back, or right back in the squad.
