Cant see that as he has taken Vokes on loan for the season and am sure I read that he said last week he was bringing in a midfileder from the Premier League but when ? Or at least was hoping to.

Opens one week after transfer window shuts ( ie tonight 11pm?? ).

Maximum length of loan 93 days, so if we want someone who'll be available for the playoff final if need be, we need to wait until Thursday 19th.

When does the loan window re-open and are there any rumours on who the premier midfielder is who Gus has hinted he is bringing in.

There was a suggest from somewhere that it was Sean Davis from Bolton. Also lots of talk that Simon Cox might join for a few months.

From an experience viewpoint someone like Sean Davies sounds okay on the face of it but he has been out injured for two years or so surely? How about someone like Hendry Thomas who seems to have dropped out of favour at Wigan but is a good few years younger or Dan Gosling who rarely seems to get beyond the bench with Newcastle and his chances won't improve with Tiote coming back from Acon.

The window re-opens tomorrow but as others have said, we may be as well to wait awhile if we want someone to be available for the play-offs should we make it
