Loads of positives from Walsall

I think there are a lot of positives about the team that Dean has built.

Firstly, we have two quality strikers, one of them is completely sublime with his first touch and everything.

It finally looks likes we have a central midfield, but we really need two good wingers, to be honest, I love Cox and everything, but I think he is only a quality substitute if we are gonna be Championship leaders. When El-Abd is in the middle, he really adds a huge beast of a prescence that gives us balance. The match last night was really based on a midfield open battle.

The defence is really nice to see, we have two right-sided and two left-sided defenders, a perfect balance.

The game was refreshing last night because there were two teams who wanted to play football, you don't see none of the long ball shit we use to do.

Murray is awesome, was sick with all the touches he made, and Cox tried to join in with a bit of show boating. The only disapointment is Jake, he is a quality player to come on as a sub, but he really is a big girls blouse, and for that I don't think he will ever make it as a footballer.

Going up this season is a tough ask, but next season, providing we strengthen in the flanks, one more in midfield and a keeper to replace Kuipers, we are going to be on championship form in this league.

This might be all very well but there's a strong whiff of something in this thread. Phew!

In such horrible conditions, i thought both teams created an entertaining match - however I would say cover for kuipers is needed not replacement, his saves in the early goal mouth scramble and from the free kick seemed to spur us into life.

Well done lads for last night, I now have bragging rights in this god forsaken part of the country!

Glad you had a good time and all, but that is just complete bollocks. He was on for what, 6 minutes last night? If that? Give him some credit, he's got alot of potential and has had a professional contract for about 3/4 years! I think theres the slightest chance he might make it as a footballer!
