Big sister is in Australia for a year, whilst in Adelaide got in touch to see if she and boyfriend could meet Lloyd and get complimentary tickest for their next home game against Newcastle. No problem tickets supplied and a meeting with Lloyd who apparently is a really nice guy hating it in Australia, playing in the reserves and thinks the manager is a complete prat and missing the Albion big style....still could do a job for us.

You didn't just post a picture of your sister on NSC, surely?

every sunday, we would go an have dinner with nana and grandad wilcock who lived in Primrose Hill...whilst nan and mum were making dinner, Grandad jack, my Dad and me would walk up Newsome Scar, across the road to Berry Brow by newsome Church and walk up to Castle Hill, stopping at the cricket ground on the way, where my Dad and Grandad would have a pint and I would have a Dandelion and Burdock.

The view from the top was brilliant.

Funny how after 46 years that is still as clear in my mind as yesterday

Cheers paddy

send my regards to your mum and dad!

From what I remember didn't Lloyd go for the money and a long contract?

I was under the impression it was due to the contract length and the fact his girlfriend is an Aussy.

Still is brilliant, you can see the whole of Huddersfield including the Galpharm and beyond the hills etc, it looks even better with the snow on the tops like this week. I think i played cricket at the ground you just mentioned this summer too.

Will do dave, no doubt see you at an away game with kev at some point this season:thumbsup:

He is not good enough to start but would be a vast improvement to come off of the bench than what we have at the moment, if we are chasing a goal with 15 mins to go.
