Pork pie land.
nobody here hates him. a few might be disappointed that he might go to Adelaide, some think he's not worth worrying over (done a job but not one for the future).

i think everyone thanks him for the goals he helped keep us up.

Exactly. If we were looking at Knight still being in charge and money being tight, then it would have been important. I am hoping we start to bring in some real quality over this summer, and Lloyd Owusu is not up to the standard that I hope we sign.

Why hate him when he may have better options ? Bloke is coming to the end of his career and playing in Oz for two years rather the a year here would appeal to a lot of people. If anybody does hate him that that person is a moron.

Is a 32 year old striker the type of player we need?

He scored some goals at the back end of last season, but he isn't getting any younger. We need a hungry, up and coming go-getter who can knock in twenty goals a season...

I daresay Slade has identified some targets and will pitch them to TB

I think the next two seasons will be very interesting and am optimistic we will end up in the second tier at the end of them

Do you think he will sign? Been hearing alot of people beginning to hate him?

What a ridiculous statement, who is the "alot of people" hating him? FFS, the more I read your post, the more moronic I think it is

that's another problem with the contract we offered him, one year with a option of another IF he plays a number of game. They offered him 2 years

Has he been offered a deal? I do hope so, but why have they offered him only one year with an option? Where did you read this, can't find it on seagulls.co.uk

I havnt noticed any hate for the LO personally, i simply dont think we need him, we are well covered up front and adelaide will be hard to turn down when the only other offer is a 3rd place spot at the withdean

He took a risk coming to Brighton to try and get a deal for next season. We only took over his contract till the end of the season. If he hadn't scored a few goals for us he could be looking at Div 2 or non league football next year. But he did well and now has a few options open to him. Good luck to the man and his family if he gets a decent deal at another club UK or abroad. If he signs for us then that would be a great squad signing.

Agree, he would be a great signing in our arsenal, and to be fair, after Murray and Forsters on/off season just gone, any more repeats, I could see him getting the lions share of playing opportunites, which can only mean goals.

agree with most on here we should be grateful for his contribution whether or not he decides to come back to Brighton. He pretty much kept us in this league and like 'Kevtherev' says could be one of the reasons why T.B has invested in us. So thanks Lloyd. A modern Brighton ledgend :albion1:
