Here in Brighton we got to see Adkins getting very excited about West Ham game. The most interesting thing about the show was a piece about a new stand being built at Torquay but they left that to very last minute.

BBC south was a pompey, saints and reading love in.

BBC South East seemed to delight in Poyet moving to Leeds

With regard to the "luck" thing, it was Tony Jacklin who said "It seems the more I practice, the luckier I get."

Much though it goes against the grain to quote Margaret Thatcher and agree wih her, when presented with a prize once at school, after the headmaster told her she was a very lucky girl, she apparently said "No I'm not, I deserved it."

If you are the team that hasn't given up in the last five minutes and really think you can pull something out of the bag to win it.......

Teams that play to the final whistle are more likely to score than those that don't ...that's not luck.
