Been in Milwaukee for 8 years. Love it for the most part. I hate the snow, although i started snowboarding this year which put a new spin on things!
the standard of living is incredibly higher than back home. When i have friends come over and visit they all say the same thing.
I play for the reigning US Amateur Champs so the standards pretty good, and Milwaukee is known for Beer and Cheese, so no complaints there.

In the 80s: 3 years Atlanta; 1 year Houston; 1 year St Louis; 3 years NY/NJ.
In the 90s: 1 year LA.
2001 Chicago for a year.
Last 9 months back in NYC.

My second home after the UK. I like a whole lot of things about the country, but like anywhere there are many things not to like.
GREAT place for a holiday. So much to do. So much to see. Incredible scenery. Great cities. Wonderful road trips.
