If driving factor in the £5 Toll for residents parking protection, cash only unless they have modernised their operation.

We're going via Wigan which makes it a lot cheaper. Paying about £90 each instead of about £130
Was a lot cheaper pre covid.

Plenty of decent places to eat and drink in the city centre or head to Anfield for the fan park which is one of the better ones. Dare I say it better than the outside facilities at the Amex as plenty of food choices and places to sit.
Well best way is direct from Euston surely ?I live just outside of Liverpool and trust me, the drive from Liverpool to Brighton and back is consistently horrendous. Euston to Wigan and then Wigan to Liverpool on the train is by far the best way to travel, even with the additional cost.

I've been a couple of times , but forgotten what the best way is to get back to lime st after the game, anyone help pls?

Well paying £90 isn't very much cheaper, plus the inconvenience of a change of trains at Wigan.
With an 8yo, coach may be best option. £87 the pair of you with Seagull Travel. Saves worrying about crossing London and about filling up with petrol.

Hope you both have a great day! I will look out for you.
Yes current train fair for both of us is £142….
My car will certainly be cheaper than that from Henfield.

What's the supporter's coach like for someone travelling solo? Don't need it for Leicester or Liverpool as coincidentally in the Midlands that week already but might look at it for others. I appreciate some might consider this a stupid question.

I have been away 20+ times in last 5 years , every time by coach on my own. No issues at all - you meet a few people as well or you can choose to ignore or just go to sleep. Have been with Seagulls travel, Liz Costa ( stopped running) and Bluesaway. All ok , Liz had best coach, ST always got my details wrong and would end up having to change coach but got there, Bluesaway have been the best for me.

30% cheaper! And £40 will buy a heck of a lot of beer around Lime Street.
