Agreed, Easy. "This means more" is nauseatingly arrogant bullshit, implying that somehow they are better football people than anybody else.

When in fact Anfield has a similar proportion of day trippers and glory seekers as Old Trafford, and there sure as hell are plenty of "lifelong" Reds crawling out of the woodwork in Sussex now (and in Milton Keynes, Aberystwyth, Bangkok, Nairobi and Melbourne too).

Indeed, the "this means more" bullshit seems to only be for Liverpool and I have no idea why. Are supporters of other clubs supposed to have some special respect for Liverpool?

There's a scouser in my office who supports Liverpool. He's a nice guy and has obviously supported them his whole life and I've never heard him gloat about them at all. Then there's my other Liverpool supporting friends who have no connection with them whatsoever. One of my friends justified her support for them recently saying she'd lived through the hard years as well as the good. You know, that season when they only finished 5th in the Premier League. As a Brighton supporter I was obviously very sympathetic.

English side knocked out. Shame.

Some people don't like some of their supporters (the plastic ones). Boo hoo.

So, I can't understand the hatred for Liverpool FC. If I see a nobber parent I don't wish their baby would die.

Baby die? Bit OTT Harry, it's only football. Listen to those proud Englishmen from Liverpool belting out our National Anthem with such pride!

I honestly do not get the media narrative (Klopp clinging to it, as well) salting Atletico for how they played last night.

It was a CONSUMATE away performance. They were absolutely brilliant. Clinical.

The media bias also entirely ignores that Liverpool were utterly out-played in the first leg. Atletico wholeheartedly deserved to go through, over the two ties.

This.

Lineker was fawning all over them as usual. "Lets just pause now, as I know watching at home you'll want to hear the anthem..." - err....not really, Gary.

Personally I love when the commentators are quiet in those situations. Regardless if I like the team or not, it just gives me shivers. Example (and I dont even care about Hammarby):

It just heighens things a bit.

I do agree however that seeing Liverpool **** up is a pleasure. The suffering of their fans has been a bright light in football since I was born.

Do you write for the s*n?
If you listened to what he said rather than having your head up your own backside he said “From Twitter I know you like to hear the anthem “.
Not his own opinion, just what had been tweeted.
Well played by AM btw, they did their homework and got the rewards.

I will happily blast out YNWA when Liverpool are denied their title win.

And the plastic scousers shall weep into their Sky Sports subscriptions.

We love Hammarby, marvellous scenes pre match for the Stockholm derbies (see YouTube), great Ultras, great stadium and Alex Skarsgard leading the chanting.
