Even though a point could see us potentially rise two spots this evening I'll decline the assured point in the hope that we can claim all three. We have given Liverpool a decent game in most of our recent encounters and I would like to think we can do so again this evening. Against a firing on all cylinders Liverpool we still little chance but against the more mortal version we have seen since they clinched the title we can give it a really good go.

I understand people saying no, but they just took apart a decent West Ham side, and 4 points from Liverpool and Spurs is a very good return, so yes.

Didn't we take apart a decent West Ham side (but typically failed to win)?

Probably yes , but with the Bigger game coming up v Burnley I just hope we don't go goal crazy against this lot and tire ourselves out too much running back to take the kick offs .

What is football all about if not glory?

No more flying under the radar. It's time for the signature result we deserve.

They are vulnerable in behind.

Connolly, Trossard and Maupay up front please

Exactly, I was there when we pulled of a MASSIVE upset in the cup, more of the same tonight please, it’s been a long time coming (it may be a lot longer but as you say - we need some glory!)

A 1-0 win at home against a ropey Spurs with our players turning in what our manager says is the best performance this season, and suddenly we think we can turn over the current league champions away with Salah on fire?

Blimey charlie.

Yes, we could win; but it's much more likely that we'll lose.

A draw now? Yes, please, without hesitation.

Would take a point in a second, a draw at Anfield is huge. You would have to be slightly headmental to think we can win there. But this is NSC of course...

Yes, win at home and draw away is the makings of a very good side

This is the bit that hasn't exactly been going to plan for a while...

As I've gone for 2-2 in the score predictor, yes 100%. To go to Anfield and get anything is a huge achievement.

Absolutely.

A point would be brilliant.

Follow that up with beating Burnley, and we’d be in sight of safety, and able to (hopefully) approach the rest of the season with the weight off our shoulders. Which could be invaluable in the long-term trajectory of this squad.
