There’s a rumour on Merseyside that Allison has had a knock, and won’t be fit for tonight.
Just a rumour, don’t shoot the messenger.
We've got the same officials as when we played the actual Champions of Europe.

I've no idea if this means anything at all.
Yeh that will be horrible. 90 minutes of through a scouse prism fan TV
I've taken to watching games on mute.
I don't like the crowd noise and I don't like most of the commentators ... the way I see it, you don't get commentators when you go to a match
Looks like rubbish
Just glanced at a Liverpool forum. They're talking of "giving them a pasting" and "tearing them a new one", while they discuss which players they'll rest before the tough game at the weekend.
Mind you, one poster talks about how Brighton will park the bus and try to sneak a goal, which suggests he hasn't seen us much this season
Astonishing that any general PL fan would consider us a “park the bus team”. Fair enough, they haven’t seen many of our games. But the “Brighton play good football under Potter” narrative is quite mainstream at this point.
In both of those cases, Leicester and Wolves, Burn was on the left of a back 4, and was heavily targeted. And you would do that again at Liverpool?
I’ve been looking at twitter.
There is an Liverpool ITK (supposedly) account saying that Allison is definitely out tonight, and could be for a couple of games ( not that I care after today) and that Thiago and Salah have late fitness tests , they are both expected to only be on the bench. Now I understand that Twitter has the biggest attention seekers in the world posting, but, this fella is rated by a lot of LFC fans as having been correct in early injury calls before. I’m not saying it’s gospel, but if it is, we could be in with a shout tonight.

Against Wolves he was in a back 3.
Against Leicester, in the 2nd half Solly was clearly assigned to play much closer to Burn, to help him deal with Justin. We drew that half 0-0. Thats what we need tonight.
Was that 3-3 at home? because I was there and also the 82/83 season went to Anfield twice, lost 3-1 in the league if I remember right and of course the famous FA Cup 5th round win.
If both Man City & Leicester do the business, I will sit back and enjoy a decent game of free flowing attractive attacking football.
Leaving my wobbly, anxiety ridden, doom monger head in the cupboard until Saturday....
