BHA (12th) make the long trip to Liverpool (1st) for Saturday's fixture. Liverpool are in fine form winning 12 of their 13 league matches so far this campaign. Beating Norwich 4-1, Arsenal 3-1, Newcastle 3-1, Leicester 2-1, Tottenham 2-1, Man C 3-1 at home. At least they are consistent in letting a goal per match. We have won once away - at Watford on the opening day. Head to head we have met 29 times. The Seagulls have lost all of the last 7 meetings (home/away). During our last 4 Premier League matches we have scored once & conceded 11 times.

David v Goliath? Certainly. But we have beaten them at Anfield twice. In the FA Cup in 1983 & a top flight fixture 1-0 back in 1982.

Three-nil loss is my guess but hopefully lessons will be learnt. A free hit I believe is how this could be described. However, surprises DO happen.

2-1 us.

Someone, at some point, has to beat them.
If there’s a team they currently don’t have reason to fear and drop their guard against, that could very well be us.

For my American friends and relatives I'm very Thankful I can laugh about this because otherwise I would be crying constantly.

EDIT: Ok, I just realized it's Wednesday not Thursday. Wishful thinking.

Excellent news, so what odds are you offering on an Albion win?

Honestly, I would probably take a 1-0 loss right now.. (half joking)

This is one of the toughest fixtures in world football right now. Even Barca couldn’t handle it last season.

So very much a free hit, most here wouldn’t begrudge a loss at Anfield, I’ll take a good performance and a score that doesn’t disgrace us. Anything more than that is a huge bonus.
