Thoughts ? Team ? Tactical Kloppering, Liverpool would be seeing this as a home win banker but recent results v the reds tell a different tale,by the time we play them I estimate at least another 10 threads of complete lack of football nonsense so please feel free to chat about our next match day.

Thank goodness football is back. A tough one for us Sunday despite our recent good results over Liverpool, this is definitely the best Liverpool we have faced in a while. I'm hoping the rest has been good for our walking wounded though. Can't make the game but I shall by watching it in the Eddy where I have a 100% record watching us play teams in red away from home. It's my straw and I'm going to clutch it!

I'm a seriel optimist. I was hoping to see BHA media pictures of Pedro back in training this week. So far just in the gym :(
I also have this crazy hope, based on sweet FA, that Mitoma and Hinch might be back for May.

Re Liverpool, I can't see us getting anything but you never know. They play a high line so we need pace up top. Time for Fati?

We'll play fairly well and lose 3-1.

They're that good and haven't shown it enough against us in the last couple of years.

A game of two halves.

Whoever scores the most will take the three points.

Regarding pre-match, a couple in The Twelfth Man.

Liverpool's home form this season in all competitons:

Won: 20
Drawn: 3
Lost: 0

Home draws against City, Arsenal & Man United

Salah is back fully fit having been excused from international duty.

Still, 9 games left after this one

My first thoughts is to not tempt fate and let's get all our players back from internationals and make sure they are fit to play.

But my second thought is ...

-----------Verbruggen
Veltman Van Hecke Dunk Estupinan
----------Gilmour Gross
--------Adingra Enciso Barco
-------------Welbeck

Steele / Lamptey / Igor / Baleba / Moder / Lallana / Buonanotte / Ferguson / Fati

Let's get up there and have a go at them

Way out West
Barco and Buonanotte are in the Argentina squad, playing early Wednesday morning our time…I’m assuming they will fly back on Thursday, but they will still be knackered come Sunday. Presumably Mac Allister will be, too. So I guess none of them would start.

very real possibility they score five or six. we self-destructed defensively at the amex in about five minutes against them, their pressing presents big problems for us. that said, they do have a mistake in them, unquestionably, and in the home game our second half performance was very good.

like a lot of games i think it comes down to if we score first. if we concede first we will most likely implode, score first and we let them know they have a game on their hands. think a lot will come down to how nunez is feeling. he will get three or four excellent chances, just depends on if he takes them.

would go with a adingra-welbeck-enciso front three. wouldn’t start fati as we get most joy against liverpool when we press them and fati generally doesn’t look arsed with that side of the game, and i think enciso and welbeck can very much offer that. also think if we start baleba it could work, as i don’t think their midfield will have the legs to deal with him, especially if mac isn’t starting. would be great for ferguson to get a goal too, though i have more of an eye on him playing against brentford. and please, please, please start verbruggen.

We're going to get dicked.
Liverpool have been very good this season, especially at home. Can't see anything but a loss for us.

We've used up nearly all our games against obvious relegation fodder. We'll have to find some points in tough games like this.

As long as there is no new injuries we'll be able to put out a competitive side and I expect to give them a very good game.

As ever with our defensive record, we'll have to take our chances.
