Well if Owen is the "World Class" striker that he is cracked up to be, then he is going to have to go out and prove it at Real now. He's been going through the motions for too long now at Anfield. He needs a challange, and at Real he will certainly get that. Like I say, this move could be the making of him.
Its down to him to make himself the No 1 striker at the Bernabau, the guy they cannot AFFORD to leave out of the team. Yes they have Raul and Ronaldo, but they are still human, and they are still subject to dips in form like everyone else. Owen could become a true great in world football if he siezes this chance. He NEEDS this challenge, and England will benefit from it if he is the striker we all hope he is.
