I have a ticket siting on the side for this fixture but the closer the game gets, the more minded I am to return it to the club. Seems like a right faff being a 8.15 ko.

Think they have a televised game at 7.30 and 8.15 so the armchair fan can watch 1.5 matches in an evening..

Depends on where you need to get back to really. It's always very tight getting back to Angmering or LA after an 8pm London kick off, the extra 15 mins is going to make it even more of a sprint (but yes, I am still going).

Arsenal ticket arrived this morning.

The atmosphere will be absolutely turgid, the ground half-empty (despite an official 60k 'pretendance'), and yomping back across London at half ten does not sound like my idea of a fun night out.

Don't worry - I won't hold you culpable if I give it a swerve. In my heart of hearts I know that if I go, after about 20 minutes I'll still be thinking 'what did I do this for?' regardless of the result.
