Is James Blunt the modern day Chris de Burgh?? How the hell is he so popular, he's even doing shit Cat Stevens impersonations now

i cant see the point of this concert, its supposed to be about global warming, How much electricity are they using for this, how many cars and planes got the artists to the uk and the stadium, and so on

So to support actions againgst the destruction of our planet means we are now have to endure a life of no pleasure?

The conceret is a good means to the end.

Even if it only opens the eyes to a few punters and politicians, it will have served a purpose.

The average business in the UK is 25% waste inefficient, this is costing the business time, money and hitting its bottom line.

There is a lot of evidence to suggest that "global warming" is basically the biggest fallacy ever created. Well, almost. Big enough, anyway.

And overwhelming evidence - like all of the top scientists that arent financed by vested interests - that says its here, has been here for a century and the problem is getting worst.

And if that wasn't true.

At the present rate of producing rubbish, The UK will run out of land fill in 9 years time.

So unless people reuse, recycle we soon be living in our own shit.

But coming back to Live Earth, in the bits I watch, I was disapointed at BBC coverage, J Ross inanal converation with a so called celebrity, when a band was on.

The unnecessary bouncing over to another act elsewhere, when an act at Wembley was on. No you can piss off to Australia etc during an interval instead of too Ross. And how off line J Ross was, the celebrities and the acts.

Good message - poor delivery by the BBC and the music world.

Worthing
I cannot be arsed to go to Google and find out so can you experts tell me why the planet was warmer 2000 years ago or so during the Roman occupation ( certain vines flourished then and the Roman attire was very light - tunic etc ) and also why we were a bit nippy when all those glaciers starting forming. Why was that.

vines flourish now, Sussex is producing the best sparkling wine in the world.

The cynicism of the interviewers and interviwees was breath-taking. Basically they wanted to be on the telly and didn't believe a word of the message they were supposedly trying to get across. Sloppy liberal thinking that won't change a thing - tho they were queueing up to bad-mouth China's entry into the industrial revolution. Music was inifinitely better than the Diana thing the week before, mind
