A Live 8 style gig in several locations around the world to promote awareness of Climate chaneg.

The London gig at Wembley Stadium will cost £55

The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Madonna, Black Eyed Peas and James Blunt are some of those already confiurmed to play (with only RHCP the only half decent band out of those mentioned)

Let's be honest, half of them will be miming anyway. I may as just well sit in my courtyard listening to the same boring commercial music on radio 1 and save myself £55.

Great line-up, but where will all the money go?

With any hope, someone would have the sense to issue travel passes for the day for public transport, so subsidising that. Or maybe for solar panels to power all those heaps of microphones, amps and swanky lighting.

What a snore festival. The Beastie Boys are about the only chance the audience have of staying awake.

Beastie Boys - brilliant but at a stadium :nono:
Black Eyed Peas - poor man's fugees. Fat arsed slapper fronting too. :nono:
Bloc Party - crap art school rock :nono:
Corinne Bailey Rae - middle of the road rock? :nono:
Damien Rice - oh please. I'd rather wank off John Prescott :nono:
David Gray - oh David, what are you doing? Your music doesn't suit stadium rock :nono:
Duran Duran - fat 80s rockers? :nono:
Foo Fighters - Jackass with guitars :nono:
Genesis - NO. Just NO.
James Blunt - I'd rather have John Prescott sucking me off :nono:
John Legend - No you're not. You're a nobody :nono:
Keane - Jesus Christ, this gets worse :nono:
Madonna - who brought their hippy mum? :nono:
Paolo Nutini - Paolo No-tuney :nono:
Razorlight - Yeah but no but Boomtown Rats tribute bands are so 2006 :nono:
Red Hot Chili Peppers - judging by the laziness of their last 2 albums - NO :nono:
Snow Patrol - ooh quite like them

That's a big thumbs up from me then.
