I've heard of leaves on the line, the wrong kind of rain etc. as excuses, but what did they announce at the other stations: "The 12.15 from Littlehampton is cancelled due to a Chav attack on a guard"

I saw a chav with a pair of crutches walk past a hair salon I was in today, I said out loud: "What a sad sight, that is" and everyone fell about laughing.

I used to work in Littlehampton and often had to go into Wick...now that really is Chav city. Apparently there used to be only 2 public toilets in the country that had that lighting installed so the junkies could see their veins easier when jacking up, one in Merseyside and the other in Wick.
I know some good lads who live there and it always makes me chuckle that the locals call the town centre on a Saturday night...downtown LA!

Well the 2900-class here aren't "Railcars" as such - they're multiple units that can run in 4's and 8's. But we call them railcars none the less. But based on what I'ver heard of the Electrostars, they're more similar to the 2700-class, that can run in 1,2,3,4,6 and 8's. Similar in that they're terribly unreliable and have dodgy doors.

Both are made by GEC-Alsthom.

There is a CCTV camera right behind where he hit you in front of a shop and if you contact the Old Bill I am sure they will be able to help.

I had a meeting with Charles Horton he is no more than forty and has the personality of a young David Bellotti, my point is Southern are making a complete balls up of running this region and although I am sorry to hear of your misfortune there are many many southern employees I would have liked to stuck one on recently.
