Don't you wish you lived in my street? I love my neighbours putting their shit out 5 days before the bin men are due.

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
It is atrocious. We must have the dirtiest City in the whole country. These people do not think about anyone else but themselves! We have lots of people in our street that just dump furniture, clothes, rubbish etc. beside the big bins without thinking what it does to the area!!!

And why do binmen only work one day a week! :dunce:

You should come and visit Preston park on a saturday or sunday morning.

It's great to see so many people enjoying the park and having barbeques, parties and generally a good time....then people bag their rubbish up in plastic bags and leave it by the side of the bins.

Then in move the seagulls, foxes, cats and dogs and rip the bags to pieces looking for food. Sometimes we can get over 100 bin bags of rubbish over a weekend from Preston park alone.....and this is every single weekend.

The litter problem has definately got worse in the last 5 years. We either need big metal bins so people can put their rubbish in there or encourage people to take their rubbish home with them....which will never happen.

Not in my street as it's on a hill. All the streets around have them though, not that they make much difference. People just don't give a f***. God I cannot wait to move!

The worst offenders in my street are all tenants.

If I go to the gym early walking down queens road and west street is a delight. All the takeaways and restaurants seem to put all their rubbish bags on the pavement and then invite all the seagulls out to have a go at picking the shit out of it. Smells delightful.

I live relatively close to Preston Park & go running around it quite often. You're right about the shit around there. People will never take their crap home though; lets face it, Brighton has been becoming one big tip for years. It's a f***ing eyesore but the people that cause it just don't give a toss.

That sucks. We have that stupid ABC now and a lot of people don't have big enough wheelie bins to last two weeks between collections and we have to keep calling the refuse people to come and clean it all up. Everyone in the village complains about the same thing everytime and hopefully they are going to go back to weekly collections for summer at least.

That's horrible though when people chuck their rubbish all over, I am a meanie though and I would go around and move it back onto their property or something.
