I would be concerned if Hammond was our holding midfielder in the absence of Bridcutt, its nothing personal I just don't see him as stopper and distributor. Lets take off our rose tinted glasses after last night and think about the team selection, certainly I think Spanish Dave has booked his place in the midfield for the rest of the season, for me the best player we have on the field,

Crofts is injured, so it'll be Dicker for Buckley.......however, Hammond is also a doubt so we might be seeing Spanish Dave as a holding midfielder.....there's a thought!

I'm no fan of Hammond, but he made a pretty good job of it against Ipswich if memory serves.

Best team so far. I think Buckley needs a little rest but will make a great sub alongside CMS & Lua Lua. Dicker in for Hammond If he & Crofts are still injured.
