My bottle of Golden Champion ale seems very common compared to some of the aforementioned offerings?

Used to drink a lot of Badger ale as its the local brewery and I had the tour. Its been a while as I am more of a craft ale/IPA man these days. Golden Champion has always been a bit unique though

Anyone thinking about Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing days special beers. I usually buy a 9 paint can of Salopian Lemon Dream or Dark Star APA effort when they were ok ——- but I don’t see any reason not to pick an Unbarred beer this year. I want to cover all beer angles this year so am basically going to get plenty of Salts .... the usual supermarket ones but I need some advice on hazelnut Porters / Stuouts

Is that a 9 litre paint can, ie large Dulux Trade Emulsion?

Speak to unbarred about what you like and they will make you up a case suited to your preferences.

A couple of Hazy Janes to start, now on a bottle of Marstons Lancaster Bomber which is a really nice drop. Will move on to some type of barley juice shortly, have a nice selection to choose from.

Brownie point to you. It predates and inspired Mateus Rose, and is part of the denomination criteria of wines from Franken. Nice wine in my view too, although The One Who Must Be Obeyed begs to differ, so it isn't.

I popped over the supermarket opposite my office at lunch and was surprised to find cans of Harviestoun Brewery Old Engine Oil Craft Stout. TBH I've never heard of that brewery so I grabbed a bunch, has anyone here ever tried it? I'll hold out until a little later in the week to get on it.

Personally, I like the grower, but have always found Muller Thurgau a bit meh. I like their Rieslings.

We had a couple of Brusset Grand Montmirail '98s. Thought it might have gone over, but instead it was nigh on perfect. Tannins fully resolved, loads of still ripe dark raspberry with a bit of licorice (G1976)/aniseed (GLDHI).
