There's something about women dressed in 70s clobber that I find slightly erotic!! Am I a weirdo?

I put it down to reading all my Dad's hidden copies of Fiesta and Club International. (Message to my Dad, they weren't that well hidden Dad and I think Mum knew all along about your secret porn stash!) Despite my exposure to all that 70s porn though I am not a great admirer of great big hairy clams!

Enough of all that, both the WPC and his Mum would get it!

And another classic line from last night, Tyler to Mark Bolan, "Drive safely mate......especially in Minis"!!!

It's a bit like Quantam Leap meets the Sweeney.

Complete bollocks but in a very good way. Love it.

:D Exactly, I couldn't believe the kind of praise it's getting, it's very addictive and watchable, but the cheesiest pile of tosh that has ever been put on that main BBC1 drama slot!

All the bent coppers deciding at the end to go straight, just like that? :lolol: Between the Lines this ain't!

Couldn't they at least have had a Play for Today on in the background as a reminder when the BBC did real drama at 9pm?

I'm off to watch my Goodnight Sweetheart boxset now! :)

Only BBC programme where I have heard a Uriah Heep track - Gypsy. Fantastic.

How is it all gonna end though?

Best bit was when he was cooking the "slapper" a meal in his flat.
What's that?
It's a Mango. A what?
What's that?
It's a Jalapino pepper.
A what?
There from Mexico.
Have you been to Mexico then?

Brilliant.

She was back briefly!!

Another damn good episode. His boss Gene is top draw! I love the way he's always doing something when Sam comes into his office for a chat - last night he was having a shave, and then later throwing his darts!

Great series. Liked the ending where he thinks he spots the younger Sam going to the game.

Thought it was very wooden and disappointing last night. Very poor attempt at creating a football atmosphere. Giving everyone a thick knit scarf and a bobble hat and chanting a few songs doesn't work.

Still some great lines though.

The worst of the series so far, I'm afraid. the whole football hoolie thing was just a bit lame - especially where he lectures the murderer at the end.

Spotting the young Sam off to the game was indeed a nice touch though.

No it's not Between the Lines, this is a light-hearted drama series with it's tongue firmly in it's cheek. Between the Lines was a serious drama series.

Far fetched I know, but I had a chuckle when the police were tooled up in the van.

"Have you got nothing then?"

"No"

"Good luck!"

Top quality TV AGAIN! last night. :)

I liked the Gov's softly softly approach to undercover work LOL

"Oi! Were you drinking in her two nights ago?"
