Hello everyone. I don't come on here much any more, but I thought I'd share this report from BBC Sussex:

BBC Sussex understands that the Liberal Democrats are likely to lose control of Lewes council to the Conservatives. Declaration expected around 1500.

That is all.

Snigger

It's taken us as long to get our revenge on LDC as it took the Americans on Bin Laden.

Good timing, especially with it being the month that the keys to our lovely new stadium are handed over.

Goodbye and good riddance to all Lib Dems on LDC.

Blimey , has it really taken all that time for residents in the LDC catchment area to realise the council was being run by a bunch of fucktards ???

Goodbye and good riddance to all Lib Dems on LDC.

The only caveat that I would make to this sentiment is that the Lewes Constituency Conservative Association was, at best, split on the stadium issue, with many members very opposed.

Ann De Vecchi didn't stand for election this time.

4 Tory gains from Lib Dems were all very close and suspect this council may well change hands again in the future...
