Liam Rosenoir; what is his best position other than right back?

Could he play wide right midfield as well as Bruno at right back?

As poor a game as Bong had last night, and I do prefer Rosenior at Left back.

Bong will get game time this season, i can see CH picking him for games like West Brom at home, when we come up against "Bigger" sides... I think there is a decent chance Bong will get the nod over Suttner.

And yes Rosenior can play numerous positions, but he really should not be considered for anything other than full back positions anymore

I think his suitability at left back depends on the opposing winger. When faced with a right footer like Mahrez who is inclined to cut inside, I might prefer a right footed left back. Then opposition can swop wingers around and muck up any pre laid plans.

Liam is altogether quite a good player to have in the starting line-up as he is versatile, still quick enough, and positions can be swopped around without using a substitute.

Rosenior to me is clearly a leader and calming figure on the pitch, i really do think he should be our left back, we need players like him at the minute.

Because Suttner misfired at Leicester, and Bong didn't fare too well last night? No let's leave it with our specialist left backs for now. Only played three competitive games between them. Too early in the day to start making changes. I'm sure they will do better after a few games.

No. Because you decided that's how i decided Rosenior ahead of those two, despite me clearly explaining why I would pick him.

But hey, why read people's posts...

The percentage of games we have won when he has started is impressive, he is an excellent professional who has a positive impact on the rest of the side and helps to form a decent defensive unit. I'd be happy to see him start on either side of our defence
