I was slightly confused at the start of the season when we started playing him wide right, as I thought we'd brought him as a defender. But he was brilliant on the right alongside Bruno.
I think it was Hughton that said when they signed Rosenior they hadn't quite realised how good a player Bruno is.

Good for us that they didn't because he is fantastic, aside from his quality on the pitch he brings so much intelligence and calmness to the team. Great player

Mock if you like but didn't his goal against us ensure we went home from a game with no points?

More interestingly this was how the table looked after that game

If you read the Redfearn interview after the game he said the difference between the two sides was the respective front two. Derbyshire is not the best but a proven goal scorer that will allways have a club after his services until he retires.

Looking at his career trajectory one would note he will always have a worse club than the one he's leaving after his services, because of how average he is ffs. J Lloyd Samuel and Matt Derbyshire for a side aspiring to the Premier League, Jesus wept. 10/10 wumming as you seriously can't actually believe this crap.

At the time a months loan would have been better than we had available but that is now history we have moved on.

I have a couple of Hull mates and they were devastated he left. They simple couldn't understand why he was allowed to leave.

That said, I've also heard he wanted to be closer to London and family.

That's not the impression i got when he done his first couple of interviews. Bruce offloaded him

What, like:

Yep, looks like we are going to leave our striking options in the hands of the brilliant but ancient BZ and a pasty Manchester United starlet. I'm not complaining but it's not very impressive for a club looking to get automatic promotion. Excuse me for not expecting anything from Baldock or Hemed.
(On Dunk) The Albion will sell anyone for the right price, I would not be totally amazed if we let him go with the club telling us that Goldson is an adequate replacement but it would be ****ing stupid.
(On Hemed)One paced and too slow witted. He is not up to the level we are at now.
You think one win is going to stop me moaning? We need a decent striker, until we get one or the board admit they don't care too much about getting promoted, I'll carry on moaning.
Completely agree, however it seems he (Zamora)is our only goal scoring forward, which is a joke for a club looking to get promoted

All in the last two months?

To be fair, however:
If we are in and around the playoffs for the rest of the season but aren't there at the death, I still think that we can say we have had a very good season. For the most part, so far it has been exciitng hasn't it? That's what we sign up for , not guaranteed promotions.

Like Bruno, Rosenior is an experienced and passionate leader of men. Where Bruno has flair, Rosenior has pace and flexibility. These two brilliant players allow for an inexperienced centre back pairing to flourish.

Love LR. Mate of mine supports Hull and was gutted to see him go. Said we'd got a good un and not just in how good a player he is.

He's proved this to be completely correct and the fact that he was the first one over to the fans yesterday and gave it LARGE just made me love him even more.

Massive part of how well we've done this season.
