Can't see it as being a very popular move having used us once to get more money. Won't get much support from the stands.

Agree, but he can take over the Ashley Barnes role and leave the rest of the squad to have full support from the stands.

Personally have turned us down, I wouldn't look to sign.

It's silly season you should expect nothing less!!
Very true.

I'm not intentionally being a negative nerys.
I am enjoying the way everybody has instantly forgotten all of the Summer 'who' signings and reverted (thanks to twitter), back to type.

My first thoughts too. OK he might do a job - but didn't he 'play' us to get a better deal at Bournemouth, only to jump ship to Norwich a few months later? Now getting all moody again.

It seems his agent likes to be 'proactive'...

That's not the way I heard it, which was that Burke offered him less than he was already getting.

It just reads like cherry picking statements adding them all together and hey presto here's a transfer rumour.

People reading media reports announcing we've supposedly bid £7m for Bolanos and think it's worth touting a few other names in our direction in the hope that something might stick.

I sense the first rumblings of frustration that other Clubs are starting to complete their deals. Yet the window has only been open for a few days. We can only have faith that our transfer dealings are mostly being conducted below the radar.

Struggling for a keeper, as ours are doing okay, and its a BIT attacking....

................................No keeper.................................
...........James Meredith James Tarkowski..............
.............................Liam Bridcutt...............................
Ben Marshall..David Cotterill..Craig Noone..Anthony Knockaert
...........Jonathon Calleri..Miller Bolanos..Lewis Grabban

Looks like the formation Ozzie Ardiles played when he managed Spurs.

It's a very obscure twitter account .... With some wildly random information.

Lewis grabban does seem like a very realistic target with our previous link with him, his availability and hughtons connections at Norwich

I would be disapointed if we signed Grabban. I have seen quite a lot of him over the last 8 years whilst going to matches in the course of my work and I don't really rate him that highly. He scored in teams who were top of their leagues and scoring freely at Rotherham and Bournemouth when they were doing well but he struggled at Millwall, Palace and at Norwich. Also, a good few of his goals I think were penalties. I could be wrong about that bit though.

Pretty much like the summer. We heard very little of the signings before they were officially announced.

Bozza mentioned on a separate thread yesterday that Norwich must be receiving some money as they had bid £10m for an Italian Defender.
I took that as being a cryptic message that we may be giving them some for Grabban..

I understand the clubs policy of keeping quiet until the deal is done.Given our current injury list I would have liked for us to have been a bit more active in the early stages of the transfer window.I know the window is open for a month & it is traditional for us to do our business at the end of the window.
Getting the right players in has to be priority but if we leave it until the end of Jan we could ruin all the good work we have done in the first half of the season.
