Mooy's form? one good game. I dont disagree it could be hard for Davy to get back in but I wouldnt call Mooy's run of one good game form.

He'd been warming up after a slow start

And more pertinently I suppose it was Alzate who played in Propper's position against Spurs .... and played well.

On the face of it, if you'd told me when Potter was appointed we'd be beating Spurs 3-0 with no Bruno, Duffy, Bernardo, Propper, Knockaert, Murray on the bench, Andone and Locadia both gone and with two academy players starting I would have thought you were mad.

Yes mate. Solly as well

Is Trossard back in training yet?
A front 3 of Maupay, Connelly and Trossard could be very, very exciting and very hard to defend against.

I agree, yet Gross is influential and desn't look like he can be left out either. For me one of the Spurs match highlights was seeing Gross chasing down a ball with the Spurs left back and winning the sprint. The lad has worked hard and is getting back to his best.

Maupay enables us to play like this, swap him with Muzza on Saturday and Spurs would have just pushed up, they couldn’t because if they had Maupay is quick enough to exploit it, it meant we had space to play in.

Agreed, but it wasn't just Maupay, it was Connolly too (who was often the most advanced of the two).

On more than one occasion, Potter has indicated that Trossard will be -- or ought to be -- back for the Villa game and, more recently, he's indicated that he's making good progress in his recovery. What we need is that thread from chaileyjem repeated this season, although I appreciate that: i, it is time-consuming to produce; and, ii, he got all sorts of unwarranted scepticism when producing it.

We also have the joint most clean sheets in the division - 3.

That's 1 more than Liverpool, Arsenal and Man U; 2 more than Spurs and Chelsea.

I know Potter likes his central defenders to both go on runs with the ball (perhaps not Dunk but you've seen a lot of it from the others) and to have the self-confidence to make more difficult passes when possible.

But, statistically there doesnt seem to be much of a change.

More likely Dunk is finally getting his reward because you have a team tactic not afraid of attacking and having pacy players who could actually abuse good long passing from your defense.

The pass is only any good if there is someone on the receiving end of it, having two willing runners with the ability to shoot on target once in behind the defenders makes a lot of difference

Don't know if this has already been said, but it is not just Dunk who is playing better football, it's the whole squad. I am blown away by the skills being demonstrated by our players, the short tight passes in particular. For the first time since we were promoted I feel that we actually belong in the PL.

I, on the other hand, can easily see that's the reason why we won.

But to do it without unshackling The Persian Playmaker...

...Mind Blown.
