We've got one game till the international break. we'll go in unchanged or near enough unchanged.

But afterwards there's a possibility that Dunk, Veltman and Welbeck are fit to start. Who knows maybe Solly as well. That's when the selection dilemmas really kick in.

I don't think that Hurzeler will be seeing any of these decisions as easy to make.
I think he will be rubbing his hands.
He can pick players to fit his game plan, rather than the other way around.
These are a good squad.

Obviously we’ll not put him straight back in whilst we’re winning. This thread sits uncomfortably with me though and some of the comments on here for the local lad who’s been utterly immense for us his whole career. He won’t expect to come back in whilst we’re winning and playing well. Plenty of time. Chill with these threads and comments imo.

Tom Cairney and Son were on the bench this weekend. Just because they're club captain, doesn't mean they start.
I'm sure Dunks knowledgeable to know he won't be an automatic start.

5 wins, 7 draws, 5 defeats when he has started. 49.1 points over the season.

7 wins, 3 draws, 1 defeat when he hasn’t started. The defeat is Liverpool away. 82.9 points over the season.

We know where our weak link is, but very strong player for the bench.

Time for him to go the way of Old Yeller?

Lewis, we know you read NSC. If Tony tries to get you to meet him round the back of the Amex, don't go.

Dunky is a professional footballer of many years standing. He KNOWS that you have to earn the shirt. AW might be playing the best football of his career. No chance he ‘expects’ to play when he’s fit.

I know what you mean.

But I don't think anyone is being discourteous.

It is a slightly awkward bit of the reality of teetering on being an elite club.
with elite requirements.

Dunk can come off the bench during added time on 17th May, and take over the captains armband, so that he can lift the FA Cup.
Interesting this.. I would start Dunk at Wembley regardless, experience of playing there numerous times prior for both Brighton and England would make me want him starting providing he is fully fit.

If JPVH and Webs are fit and playing well, they'll start games, and Dunk may replace one towards the end of a game if they're tiring or booked.

He's not getting into the starting eleven when fit... and it has nothing to do with him. You simply dont break up a CB pairing working as well as it now (and no, Igor did not play well, so that was a different situation).
