I can't believe Dunk would expect to come straight back in, during the current run
I think he will be rubbing his hands. We've got one game till the international break. we'll go in unchanged or near enough unchanged.
But afterwards there's a possibility that Dunk, Veltman and Welbeck are fit to start. Who knows maybe Solly as well. That's when the selection dilemmas really kick in.
I don't think that Hurzeler will be seeing any of these decisions as easy to make.
Dunk can come off the bench during added time on 17th May, and take over the captains armband, so that he can lift the FA Cup.
Bit harsh on Cashin, who we haven't seen yet ?Better.
Definitely better.
Dunk needs to be on the bench until there's a need to replace one of our starting pair.
I know what you mean.Obviously we’ll not put him straight back in whilst we’re winning. This thread sits uncomfortably with me though and some of the comments on here for the local lad who’s been utterly immense for us his whole career. He won’t expect to come back in whilst we’re winning and playing well. Plenty of time. Chill with these threads and comments imo.
Interesting this.. I would start Dunk at Wembley regardless, experience of playing there numerous times prior for both Brighton and England would make me want him starting providing he is fully fit.Dunk can come off the bench during added time on 17th May, and take over the captains armband, so that he can lift the FA Cup.
But would we have bought Cashin if it were not for the fact that Igor - as well as Dunk -are out injured?Bit harsh on Cashin, who we haven't seen yet ?
He is.There’s currently no sane case which can be made for Dunk’s re-introduction. Webster is performing as good, if not better, than Dunk has been for the past year or so.
It happened in NovemberBreaking up a brilliant CB pairing in the form of their lives won’t happen.
Sounds like a provincial plastering firmTom Cairney and Son were on the bench this weekend. Just because they're club captain, doesn't mean they start.
I'm sure Dunks knowledgeable to know he won't be an automatic start.
I hope Igor is getting all the treatment he needs in Brazil. He is.
But so was Igor.
Hopefully FH feels strong & secure enough now not to bottle the decision again
