Dunk White Webster could be our brick wall for years to come now. Amazing.

That’s a big up yours to Chelsea [emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122][emoji122]

I'd have had no issue with him going to Chelsea.

Over the years we've had a pretty good relationship with them in regards to players coming our way.

No reason to have any animosity towards them for taking an interest in one of our players.

It won’t be a transfer window without a new contract for Dunk!

This. Every summer :lolol:

Dunk has great season and fancies more cash. People close to Dunk find someone guillable to start a rumour. Dunk gets big, fat new contract.

Good job the lad thoroughly deserves it

These aren't the players you're looking for.

Even better news than the Ben White saga. I like the potential combination of Dunk, Webster, White back 3. White will learn a lot from these two.

What is the combined value of those 3?

£100m+?

What a time to be a Brighton fan.

Well that tweet earlier suggest that Chelsea were told a price of £50m, Webster is probably now worth about £30m and, according to Leeds, White is the best player in the world, so I reckon that's about £220m, so a nice round £300m for the back line :lolol:

Don't worry, I don't think the club's response to the enquiry for Lewis Dunk was 'Up Yours!'.

Last season was Lewis's best by far. And I think there's still more to come

Good for Dunk but also a strong message from Tony Bloom, that we will only sell players that don't fit into our plans, or we are made an offer we can't refuse.

I'm led to believe that LD won't go THIS window.

I'm sure I'll be lambasted if it all goes belly up but I understand there's ongoing discussions between certain parties concerning release clauses should the appropriate offers be tabled.

As far as I know this is the delay with certain players contracts and assurances of who goes/stays.

Very interesting to see how it pans out.

Good call.

Would presume it’s to match his wages with Lallana, so 80k a week now for Lewis. Doubt he’d ever imagined in his wildest dreams he’d be making that amount whilst here.

and get the impression that he was never money motivated. The income a virtuous byproduct of a love for the sport and his hometown club.

Now that Lewis Dunk is not really going to Chelsea and has signed for us.
Can we all have some sort of normal life where all the closet *bedwetters can go back under their rocks

*Yes I know, I used that word
