Journalism is dead as far as the Argus is concerned, full of second hand news and appalling grammar/errors. The Sun exclusive article yesterday has been quoted in a lot of the nationals as being accurate.
Where?
Lets try again.

Anyone know how The Sun's Dunk exclusive last Summer worked out?

Good point, though what do you make of the lack of Dunk in any of the new kit/new season commercial photos?
Dunk is the captain, player of the year, he's mr Brighton and he's always in these things.
Looks like something is up? club hedging bets, an understanding he can go this close season if right offer/club comes in?
Dont trust the red tops, but the lack of Dunk in any club photo is not normal.
I'm told there was absolutely nothing in that at all.
Of course, that's not to say he won't go, but if he does it will be something new (ie a big bid coming in) well after all that happened.

It’s on the argus now.

Last season's 'Dunk to Leicester' stories were fuelled by loose talk and wishful thinking from an agent who was trying to push through a move to us for a central defender he represented. As it was we signed two central defenders anyway.
As for Dunk's absence from marketing, maybe they're holding him back for the away kit launch.

Is The Argus no longer "in the know" regarding Albion issues?
I'm out of the loop these days as only rely on NSC and BBC for Albion news.
It's been on The Argus for a couple of hours, but it's just Charlotte Ikonen again with a bit of cut and paste, not actual informed reporting.
Looking forward to reading that list of defenders who were still playing at 38 for top sides. There have been few. Yes, players do stay on until 35/36.
But there’s no resale value or longevity of playing. He’s 29 in November. So even 6 years playing time equates to a significant amortisation payment each year for chelski if we were able to get £50m. It’d be brilliant if we can.
I hope he stays actually and plays alongside White, which would be great for his development.
How many times have the argus put something about a player inbound or outbound and it hasn’t had any truth ?

Until I see our bloke holding up a different clubs' shirt, I'm ignoring any 'rumours', because that what they are, rumours. It's all 'he said, she said' and I heard it from a mates grannys best friends budgie, that so and so was seen in a corner shop near to some clubs training ground.
I hate there not being any football (us) to watch
Yet Lamptey showed that Lampteys needn't be too expensive.
He was near the end of his contract wasn’t he? Seemed like a very good piece of business. But I don’t know how easy it is to replicate when you need it.
Imagine if he hadn’t come in in January?
His impact was tremendous.
I read Veltman’s signing was years in the making and that we may have helped with with the “premier league” get out clause in his contract. Hence the $900k. Don’t know how true that is?

Of course they will - if they meet our valuation (which will very much have his age factored in) and he wants to go.
