Hopefully one day with the new stalls going up from the station.

There was one on Saturday by the Club Shop.

The best chippy in Lewes (has probably been mentioned but i'm not good with road names) is the one at the bottom of the High Street on the way to the Snowdrop

Tried the one on Fisher St on way to a game, probably the worst I've ever had. Avoid.

Since the new owners have taken over, a "large chips" is now the same size as the old "small chips".

Unfortunately, it's on the way home from drumming on tues evening so i have to stop there !!!!!!!

Portion size was irrelevant really, as most of them went in the bin. Very obviously cooked in dirty oil........yuck.

I was told by an old chip shop owner some years ago, when changing the oil you should always add a littlr dirty oil as it helps brown the chips or fish. So wife does this in the fryer at home and it seems to work with no bad taste.
