How come Burgess Hill v Saltdean was a LOCAL derby? as both teams were Sussex county league?

In those days they both had the most money in the County League so they were the BIG match, even if there were others more local.
And even at that level, sadly money counted.

Second half was dreadful! Hill deserved to win based on their almost total dominance in the first period but not a great game overall and Freeman's got his work cut out keeping Lewes up. Crowd very disappointing (although looked a lot more than 449).
