Pot the reds then screw back, for the yellow green brown blue pink & black...Iron OR snoobs gis a bell in the morning...il;; keep my fone on.

Up The Sussex!!!

As an Albion fan I will be neutral, however it will be nice to watch a live game of football without being disappointed after 90 minutes, as I have been so often this season!

Great to see 3 Sussex Teams in the Conference this season & would recommend all BHA fans to pop down to watch a game every so often.
Having other local clubs playing at a higher level halps BHA with sending out players on loan as well.

Up the Sussex:clap2::bounce::clap2::bounce::clap2:

I'm tempted to go just for the fact I wnat to see how bad Lewes actully are, as hearing about it while Worthing are performing well isn't the same as watching them getting their arses kicked.

I've got nothing better to do and it will get me out of the house away from loads of kids. Hadn't really given it a thought that as a neutral we will have to choose an end.

I'm a bit pissed of at the first train back to London Road is 17:18. Really cant be arsed with a 25 minute wait at the station.

Both teams can DO one as far as I am concerned.

I also suspect the last thing either Eastbourne or Lewes fans want is smug and patronising Brighton fans gracing them with their presence.

I don't see how anyone supporting a League 1 club can count a Conference side their 'second team'.

Can't imagine many Forest or Derby fans (apart from the ones banned from the City Ground or Pride Park) would be off to watch Burton.

Personally, I suspect that given the state of Lewes's finances, they won't care if potential spectators are Albion, Crawley, Man United or Boca Juniors fans, so long as they have the money to pay the entrance fee.

Haven't you heard of the saying about never looking a gift horse in the mouth, do you think the Albion would be particularly bothered if loads of people living in Brighton who normally go to watch Premiership teams decided to watch a game at Withdean...I don't think they would, what matters is how many people come through the turnstiles, particularly in these times of financial strife.

Today will probably be a bumper crowd for Lewes, maybe the biggest of the season, that is surely what matters to them. Whoever does go to the game, I hope you enjoy it and see that the BSP does have something to offer!

Come on Lewes!! Being originally from Mid Sussex they are more local to me than EB. And Eastbourne is a complete hole.

Brighton
Just noticed Tim Rivers is on the bench for Lewes, he is a youth player who turned down a scholarship with the Albion last year I think because he wanted to do A levels. Good policy from Brighton that.
