We are going. You can park at Spring Barn Farm park if you book in advance and walk down to the high street. Only a 10 minute walk
Why have Sussex Police spent the last 20 years trying to block outsiders from attending? What were the awful events prior to that, that led to their control freakery on this?
Don't go if you have any issues with the following:
Fire, crowds, loud noises, blackface, 17th Century attitudes towards religious diversity.

Do you have enough loyalty points to attend the bonfire? Minimum points is 125,000 and to have this, you must be at least a fifth generation Lewesian and be able to bring along a great grandparent who was also a fifth generation Lewesian (if they are dead, you should push their body along the High Street in a burning wheel barrow).
Sure they said on Radio Sussex today no trains to or from Lewes after 4pm on Sat 4th Nov.
